Megan Elk (they/them) is a multi-disciplinary artist, musician, storyteller, and communicator who has spent over 20 years working in arts education and engagement for organizations large and small. Megan is a proud, third generation union organizer, and a card-carrying member of both the American Federation of Musicians and Actors Equity Association. They currently serve as the Director of Communications & Organizing at the Chicago Federation of Musicians, AFM Local 10-208, where you may be familiar with their work as the editor of the Local’s quarterly magazine, The Intermezzo.
